Beach trip number 2 of the summer was fantastic! We didn't get to go over the 4th, so we went this weekend instead. Friday night we packed up and headed out! Ruston helped as
well. :)
We got there REALLY late Friday night. It was actually 1:30 Saturday morning! Saturday was a pretty lazy day. This is what we did most of the day....
Seriously, the highlight of the day was going to HEB for groceries. :) Before we left, I let Ruston pick out our clothes. He ended up "picking" almost the entire suitcase.
Sunday and Monday, Danny and I took turns going down to the beach and watching Ruston. We took him swimming both nights down at the pool. Same as last trip, the pool and the birds are the winners. The sand and waves are still not on the favorites list. :)
Ooohing, aahhing, reaching for, and screaming at the birds. :)
Being funny....
He's always liked looking in mirrors and smiling at himself, but he's now getting to where he "interacts" with himself in the mirror. Here he is giving himself some smooches. :)
Monday evening we went to Castaways for dinner...
Tuesday morning, we met Ken and Beverly at the beach to take Ruston's 10 month pictures. He snapped some family pics while we were down there as well!
Before we left Tuesday, we took Ruston downstairs to the Children's Craft room. He made a little monkey. But he had more fun sitting on the table, throwing markers!
