Glass/Burch Beach Trip 2013

Our 2nd Annual Glass/Burch Beach Trip was awesome!  It was great to get away with friends and enjoy some time in the sun. :)

We made the kids' shirts the week before we left.  We went the tie-dye route this year.  It had the potential to be quite messy... but they turned out cute!

We spent lots of time down in the sand.  Ruston and McKenzie were the ultimate diggers and once again, Tyler didn't want to get out of the water.

One day, they teamed up with some other kiddos on the beach and built their own "aquarium."  They dug a big hole and found all kinds of little creatures to keep inside.

The boys went to the Lexington one day and enjoyed some guy time.  Andrew had a baseball tournament in Corpus Christi, so we met up with my dad and Melinda for dinner one night.

Here is our trip in a bunch of random, out of order, but incredibly awesome pics! :)

Birthdays Galore!

We celebrated a lot of birthdays this spring!

Mason's 3rd birthday party was up first!
We drove down to Houston and met everyone at the park.  Parks are such a great place to have parties... there is so much to keep the kids (and the adults! ha) entertained!
Natalie had a petting zoo and a pony for them to ride.  Such a cute idea and the kids loved it.
Pinata time!!
Getting all the kids together for a picture is easy.... getting them all to look and cooperate.... not so much! :)
Since Mason's party was right after Easter, they had some confetti eggs!  Ruston thought it was awesome to crack eggs on Danny and I... but he wouldn't let anyone crack one on him!

Next up was Ms. Blythe's music party.  She's 2 years old!!
The kids were all entertained by all the toys/garden tools they found outside!

After Blythe's party, we went out to Braelynn's 2nd birthday party.  It was getting late, so the kids were pretty tired, but they were all about the wagon rides.

We celebrated Amanda's 24th birthday at Nancy's Steakhouse.  Her terrible sister-in-law (that would be me!) was trying to make her older than she really is and accidentally put 25 on her cake. Ooops! :/
Ruston picked out a cake with green icing.... The color stayed around for a while. :)

McKenzie had her 5th birthday party out at Webberville Park.  Danny was all about this - it's his old stomping grounds! It was fun showing Ruston the house where Danny grew up.... it's just a couple blocks from the park.
The kids ran and played on the playscape all afternoon.  When the party was over, they watched Jason let the balloons go and thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Justin celebrated his 30th birthday this year.  It's crazy how old we're all getting! :)
