Last day at the Beach

It was cloudy and looked like rain on our last full day at the beach. The condo has kids' crafts going on all day in the conference room, so we took Ruston down there. He "colored" a picture of a fish for Gigi's new fridge.
He liked the crayons so much, he didn't want to give them up. We ended up having to take one with us...every time we tried to pry it out of his hand, he'd scream. Wonder where he gets his temper?? :)
We went into town for lunch at Fins. They have yummy burgers and an awesome chip and dip appetizer. Quite expensive for chips and dip, but still delicious. :) Ruston entertained himself by chewing on Dad's straw.
He loves sour things. Pickles are a favorite to suck on, but he likes lemons too!
He makes the craziest faces, but he always goes back for more!
Sno-cones are a must when you are at the beach. Ruston's first was a stawberry daiquiri. Yum yum!
Argh, matey!
He matches the shark's mouth!
Another must....pictures in the mouth of a shark!
By the time we got back to the condo and had a nap, the sky had cleared up and the sun had gone down just enough to head out.
We had one last attempt at learning to like the sand. He did a little better....he at least tried to touch it. Still not a big fan, though. :)
On the way back, a flock of seagulls was flying around above us. Ruston was leaning back so far to see them, I thought he was going to jump out of my arms! haha
Seriously, he couldn't miss a thing!
He may still be iffy with the beach and sand, but the pool is a go!
Drying off with Dad.
The first beach vacation was a blast! Can't wait for the next!! :)
