We had a busy, busy Halloween. We started off by finally getting all our "decorations" in order. We have some really cute Halloween stuff, but I'm so paranoid someone is going to take it out of our yard. ha! So we put it out day of. :)
I love this pumpkin. We got it at Hobby Lobby for like $15!
This silly face was my gift from the October POKENO game.
Some of our fun outdoor stuff. All 3 of them light up.
This guy lights up too. He's my favorite. :)
We've been planning to go to the Pumpkin Patch for a while now, but the last weekend we wanted to go, the weather was nasty. Saturday didn't work out for us either, so went Halloween afternoon. It was so much fun! I'm glad we went. We only spent $2!
We went on a little tractor ride out into the Christmas trees.
They had little pumpkins "hidden" all around the trees. We didn't know what Ruston was going to think of everything, but he had so much fun sitting down, playing with the pumpkins.
Family pic out in the patch.
When we got back from picking our pumpkins, we stopped at the "petting zoo." I expected more animals, but this little goat was so friendly, I was satisfied.
We planned on coming home and carving our pumpkins, but little man needed a nap! By the time he woke up, it was time to eat and get dressed! Adam and Saoirse came over and we grilled and had some yummy dinner.
This guy was not too fond of his Dracula costume at first! He just cried and constantly tried to get away from the cape. :)
Once he got into the wagon, though, he forgot about it. He kept tossing his pumpkin over the side. Guess he wanted him to walk.
Our trick or treat group, tearing up Parkdale!
I was so proud of Ruston. We really weren't sure what he was going to think of the whole trick-or-treating bit. He had a blast! At the first house, he just carried his little basket and walked right up to the witches!!
He was so excited about his first snack!
The first house we went to actually belongs to a friend of Amanda's. They had a cute little set up for pictures. :)
On to the next house!
Cutest Dracula I ever saw. :)
We didn't make Diesel dress up in his Yoda costume this year. He was quite grateful!
After taking Ruston to a few houses, it was time to get back to ours. We changed clothes and started handing out candy! (Well, I handed out candy. Danny terrified the kids as they were walking off. One junior-highish girl got so scared she ran into one of our columns. Oops. :))
Little Aubrey came for a visit and posed with cousin Ruston.
We had a fabulous holiday and hope you did too!
